Inclusion and review of chatbot providers
723 providers, one traceable inclusion standard.

T-NEX operates this register and itself offers chatbot services. This page sets out the conditions under which companies are included, what the sources document and where the informative value of the entries ends. Inclusion is not a recommendation or an independent product review.
Which companies are included
A company must publicly describe a specific AI- or NLP-based text chat offer, a corresponding development service or a traceable customer implementation. General AI consulting is not sufficient. A purely voice-based telephone assistant does not count as a text chatbot.
The offer is assigned to a named legal entity. Several brands or locations of the same company do not create an additional company entry. Manufacturers, implementation partners and companies with both roles are distinguished. A customer implementation is not evidence of a freely available standard product of the same name.
What the Germany and regional link means
For assignment, a publicly documented registered office, branch or business address in Germany is required. The type of evidence is shown at the location. For this we use in particular legal notice, contact and location pages. This does not replace an official register extract.
A business address, even with a c/o indication, does not prove an operational office or a specialist team available there. Advertising pages for cities, mere areas of operation and regional customer names do not establish a location. Germany includes NRW, and NRW includes OWL. The regional figures are therefore not added together.
How topics, selections and full profiles relate to one another
Each company has exactly one full profile. The profiles are placed in topic areas; extensive areas are additionally divided alphabetically. The classification is based on the documented fields of use and serves navigation. It is not an assessment and not a claim of exclusive specialisation.
The overviews for individual tasks, Germany, NRW and OWL link to these profiles. A company with several fields of use can appear in several suitable selections. This does not create additional companies in the overall inventory. The selection for development takes into account the stated role as implementation partner or as manufacturer with project services of its own.
The area for chatbot software and custom solutions contains offers for several tasks as well as other specific chatbot applications. No common technical architecture or form of delivery follows from this. Whether a company offers its own software, project services or both is shown separately in the profile.
How to read comparison features
A feature is shown as documented only if the assigned source or the documented offer description supports it. The statement relates to this described scope. A named system does not, for example, automatically prove a ready-made standard connector, an unrestricted licence or a particular contractual partner.
If information is not yet documented in the register, this remains visible. It does not follow that the provider does not have the function. Questions on operating model, rights, prices, interfaces or support may have to be clarified in the specific offer. Differing levels of evidence are not a quality ranking.
Sources, updates and corrections
Offer and location details each have assigned public sources. The source retrieval date describes the time of research. It proves neither a technical acceptance nor a personal expert approval. Change dates of the pages and retrieval dates of the provider sources are kept separately.
A link may later show different content or may no longer be reachable. We check reports of changes against a specific public source. Corrections concern the statement, its evidence and the associated status. The selection does not claim to cover the whole market.
What statements the register does not make
The entries are based on publicly described offers. They are not independent product tests, recommendations or assurances of performance. Security, data protection, regulatory suitability and specific costs are not derived from a manufacturer’s description alone.
For international product families, manufacturer in the register means the software offer itself with its named German representation. It does not follow that this company develops all functions or is the contracting party in every purchasing model. The delivery and contract arrangement must match the offer.
T-NEX as publisher and provider
T-NEX operates the register and itself offers chatbot services. Highlighted T-NEX areas are recognisable as its own offer. The company lists are shown alphabetically. There are no invented rankings, stars or quality seals.
The T-NEX entry also names public sources and limits of the offer. Maintained answer search and generative RAG development remain separate scopes. A reference explains the project role actually described; it is not evidence of arbitrary ready-made functions, independent tests or undocumented success figures.
