The task: connect project demand with actual capacity

A5Hub is a T-NEX project reference in project portfolio management. The application connects the view across several initiatives with individual project planning and organisational resource management. Its business focus is shared capacity and traceable planning states.

Several projects can require the same skills while routine work already consumes part of the available capacity. A project plan alone therefore does not establish who is available. The application connects project demand with the decision of the responsible organisational unit.

From the project

Connect portfolios, projects and work packages

Portfolios organise the initiatives. Within a project, the work breakdown structure and Gantt provide phases, work packages, dependencies and milestones. Tasks and responsibilities remain in the same project context. Programme functionality is disabled by default and not yet fully developed in the documented state dated 30 August 2026. A usable programme scope must be demonstrated and agreed separately before commissioning.

The development connects different working levels: an overview for portfolio managers, detailed planning for project managers and task handling for team members. Roles and business assignments determine what information is visible.

From the project

Distinguish approved allowances from named commitments

A resource request describes project demand. The department can approve a capacity allowance and then commit named individuals. This distinction is operationally important: approval of an amount does not yet staff the work.

Capacity and utilisation views combine demand, commitments and available resources. Routine departmental work is included. The reference therefore demonstrates a cross-role coordination process that goes beyond a shared task list.

From the project

Assess plan changes against a fixed reference

A saved baseline preserves the agreed plan. Forecasts, costs, recorded time and status reports support continued steering. Risks and change requests give changes a documented context.

A change is therefore visible as more than a new current value. The team can assess it against the preserved plan and identify the resulting decisions. This connection between plan, change and reporting is part of the reference’s business depth.

Design AI proposals with a preview and individual selection

The AI assistant can draft a work breakdown structure or propose changes. A preview shows affected elements, while effort, duration and names can be edited. Only explicitly accepted changes are written to the plan.
